Our Favourite Restaurants on the Costa Blanca South
There are hundreds of restaurants around Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja. Rather than listing them all, these are some of the places we recommend to our guests – from breakfast and easy family meals to traditional Spanish food and special dinners.
Most are close to La Zenia, with a few that are well worth the short drive along the coast or into Torrevieja.

Family-run since 1989, El Mesón de la Costa is known for fresh fish and seafood, quality meats, Iberian ham and an impressive wine cellar.
It is well worth the short drive into Torrevieja specifically for the meal.

For a better dinner around Campoamor, Fish Bowl is one of our preferred choices.
For traditional Spanish food at good value, try Mesón El Huertano.
And if you want one special Spanish restaurant during your stay, our number-one recommendation is El Mesón de la Costa in Torrevieja.
A Few Local Tips
Book ahead in July and August, particularly for dinner.
Spanish dinner times are later than many visitors are used to, and eating between 20:00 and 22:00 is completely normal.
If you are staying around La Zenia, many restaurants can be reached on foot. A short drive or taxi opens up even more options around Campoamor, Punta Prima and Torrevieja.
